About Mountain Tek
Since 1995 Mountain Tek has brought its customers a diverse line of
technical rescue equipment. From our small beginnings we have strived
everyday to better serve our customers and provide quality equipment at
great prices. We not only sell these products but train and use them in
our departments as well. We pride ourselves on being a small business
with its roots in the rescue community. We enjoy getting to know our
customers and building a relationship with them so that they feel
comfortable with our knowledge base and us. We also rely on our
customer's feedback on products they have used in training and real life
rescues. We value your opinion and encourage an open exchange of
information on products and techniques you have found useful.

About the Owners |

 Jimmy Brissie
As the founder and co-owner of Mountain Tek, Jimmy has been involved
with the rescue service since 1990. He is a NC certified EMT as well as
a NC Level II Instructor in the following areas: Rescue Technician,
Ropes Technician, and Surface Water Rescue Technician. He is also
certified as a Trench Rescue Technician, Structural Collapse Technician
and is an Eagle Scout. Jimmy volunteers with his local county Rescue
Squad, where he has served in many positions, but most recently as Chief
since 2000. Jimmy also holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and
is certified as a NC Law Enforcement Officer. Besides working at
Mountain Tek, he is also employed full time as a Lieutenant with a local
Law Enforcement Agency. |

 Rhonda Brissie
As
a co-owner of Mountain Tek, Rhonda has been involved with
the rescue service since 1994. She got her start while at
college in Boone, NC with the local rescue squad. After
receiving a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and
moving to Hendersonville, NC she continued volunteering with
her local county Rescue Squad. She has served in many
positions with her local agency, and currently serves on the
Board of Directors. She is a NC certified EMT as well as a
NC Level II Instructor in the following areas: Rescue
Technician, Ropes Technician and Surface Water Rescue
Technician. She is also certified as a Structural Collapse
Technician. She worked with a local manufacturing company in
their Supply Chain before coming to Mountain Tek full time
in 2001. |
